Default TECH HELP PLEASE !!!

Ok guys i have a 1995 Civic and 2 weeks ago i drove 300 mile trip each way and half way thru the trip both ways my speed control starting going crazy and it made the torque converter clink when it did .......

My question is once the speed control goes completley will it still drive ok ????
I have to drive a 600 mile round trip in the am tomorrow and dont want to be stuck on the side of the road !!!!

you should, it may act crazy if you set the cruise control and your speed-o will probly act up but it should not leave you on the side of the road
