Default temp needle moves randomly????

i have a 89 civic sedan, d15b2 all stock. when the engine is running and warm, the needle is fine but if i turn my lights on, signal lights on, hit the brakes, anything to do with power the temp needle moves up and down? Could it be a short somewhere, head gasket, what is it, its pissing me off?? How can i fix it? any advice or comments could help.

lol not yer head gasket. just short circuits. my car does it too. i wouldn't worry too much about it. yer guage prolly reads accurate when yer lights are off.
