Default Torque Specs for 97 DX manifold converter nuts?

I just installed a new manifold converter on my 97 DX and I don't have a shop manual. I torqued the upper nuts to 20 ftlbs but I know that is not enough. Can someone please look up the torque specs in their shop manual?

why don't you download the factory service manual from the link in my signature and check it out for yourself. You need either the 96-98 or the 96-00 service manual. it will have every torque value you need for your exhaust repair job. I even noticed that you can search for the words even though it is in graphics mode.

Definitely do what Mundy suggested.

The answer is 23-ft-lbs.

I replaced the minifold converter and gasket with an OEM unit from Majestic Honda for 450.00 ish including shipping. I did not replace the O2 sensors yet. Waiting to see if they throw codes. The car runs like crap since the swap....choking off at stop lights and such....so I am waiting for the Check Engine Light to see what the code will be. Thinking it is going to be for the upper/foreward O2 sensor.
