98 civic automatic trans rebuilt 3 yrs back. Trans has run just fine till yesterday when cursing bout 55 mph trans just disengaged, no warning weird sounds or operation. pulled over ran it thru gears nothing. shut it off for a few minutes started it up and it would move forward tried reverse nothing and then nothing in drive . did this a couple times same results. I like to tinker on stuff so before I decide to take it to a shop or wrecking yard will you guys give me your suggestions as to the prob and some things I can look at. thanks in advance...
