TPMS Sensor Warning
Just bought after market wheels and snow tires for my 2016 Honda Civic EX-T. I did not put TPMS sensors in the wheels. The display showing "low tire pressure" is very large and in the center of my screen. Can I minimize that somehow?
Doing more research on the web, it appears that Honda stopped using sensors in the wheels in 2014 or 2015. I have been told that the 2016 Civic has the kind of TPMS that senses wheel rotation and circumference as an indicator of tire pressure. I have been told that all I need to do is recalibrate. Let you all know
does any one know how to reset the check TPMS warning and light that is on the read out. the car is an automatic 2013 Civic LX. i looked on the display options and i cant seem to find a similiar solution that works on 2015 models.
all tires are at 30psi. the car has a temporary sized spare that is also inflated to proper psi.
