Default transmission flare

I have a 2001 honda civic EX..i changed the fluid as in drained and refilled and I did that 3 times. I used genuine Honda ATF from the Honda dealership. after I changed it I noticed I had a transmission flare just before it would shift into 3rd and 4th gear I took it to a transmission shop today and they looked at it they checked the fluid they hooked it up to a computer and they said that all the sensors are good and they don't see anything wrong with it so my question is what would cause the flare and how do I fix it. I read a couple of forms that said if I use fully synthetic ATF that would fix it but then others are saying to only use Honda Genuine ATF.

stupid question but you drove it in between drains rite ???. genuine honda ATF fluid is full synthetic they switched to full synthetic a couple years back. 01+03 civic had faulty transmissions because of an issue with the internal filter being too small and too fine of a mesh being used. they upgraded the filters in the 04-05 its only a matter of time before it fails completely but i have known of these cars going for a long time even with the flare. also the fluid needs to be at the perfect level otherwise problems can occur.
