new to this form ,,, have a 96 civic hatch with an automactic ,1.6L, all stock, transmission shifts hard in 2nd and 3rd gears ,,,, transmission does not slip tq locks ,, chaged the fiuld three times , changed the linier shift solenoid , changed the computer , changed the solenoid pack on top of the transmisson,, and checked the ohm load on the solenoid pack on the side of the transmission ,check out at 31 ohms and thats what all the other ones check out at ,,, changed the rear motor mount to ,could it be oh it down shifts from 3rd to 2nd very hard ,,, got the car because of gas prices but i'm about to buirn it to the ground and just keep driving my diesel truck .....changed the fuild with dex merc and used 2 bottles of red lube ,,, is honda transmission fluid that great ?
any help would be great

Honda transmission fluid is essential. It's completely different from generic fluid.

 

When I had my old civic with an automatic transmission my manual said Honda fluid or Dexron II fluid. I used synthetic B&M Trick Shift ATF and it never gave me any problems.

 

ok i will give honda fuild a try and see what happens ,,,, if that does not work any ideas what else it could be ,,, thanks
