You could of saved yourself that $90 by simply going to autozone, advanced auto parts, etc. and get them to check them

RE: Transmisson Problems
Not much to recommend, what needs to be changed needs to be changed and if you can't do it your self you really can't save any money unfortunately =/, mabye your friends shop can cut you a better deal.

RE: Transmisson Problems
If this is a Honda Dealer I think they're trying to rip you off! My experiences with Dodge Dealers are that they always try to suggest / add some unnecessary repairs. I got milked $1200 for my last one, and I'll try to never again use a dealer for any car. Dealerships are known to be rip off repair jobs, even though they do good certified work! Find a good independent mechanic!
My Grand Caravan was working fine except for a broken water pump. They sugested other repairs like an oil sender, oil pan gasket, coolant hoses - and I went along with it without a pre quote. Then they ripped me off charging me $130 for changing a simple oil sender, $210 for the oil pan gasket, etc. I'm never going back! |
