Default Trying to get window tint adhesive off......

Off the rear window with defroster, all that is left is the glue. So far I have tried EZ-Off oven cleaner, dishwash soap/water, ammonia and steam. The ammonia worked the best for taking off the second (clear) layer of tint but it wont do anything to the glue. I have also tried #0000 steel wool with all chemicals...anything else to try?

Any aggressive cleaning of the inside of the rear window is going to ruin the defogger grid. You are probably already past that point though.

I suggest a chemical solvent such as acetone or carb cleaner. Use with lots of ventilation, don't smoke, and keep off of any non-glass surface.
