I would like to turbo mymini-meEF hatch,but i dont know how manypounds of boost a stock D16A6 block can handle.Doesanyoneknow themax number of psi i can set it without risking a hole in the block?

 

its all about the horsepower, not the PSI. A big diesel turbo vs. a t28 are totally different things at 10 psi. Prolly about 200 hp is safe on stock internals, but a compression test will tell you more about what kinda condition your engine is in.

 

alright, so a ruff estimate of my hp is like 130, give or take 5. so wat if i throw a T3/T4 turbo, wat would a suitable psi set be?
