Default turbo kit 89 civic si

i have a hatchback with a d16 and i found a turbo kit thats kinda a DIY kit for a lil more then a grand. but the kits for a b16. it should still install properly on a d16 right? and also is this a good turbo kit? if not then what is and im lookin for the easiest way out on my wallet.

heres another one that is specific to the 89 d16 please tell me what you think about it and if its worth the money?

CXracing, IMO, is garbage. I would only use the charge piping, couplers, manifold (but I would have a spare one ready to go in case it fails), intercooler, and downpipe (depending on the welds). Everything else is trash.

I would highly suggest to piece your own kit together. It may cost a little bit more, but if you stock with reputable name brands, you shouldnt have any issues in the future.

Check out the stickies in the turbo/supercharger/nitrous section. They have ALOT of good information

A lot of the time you can build the same kit with used parts for the same price or cheaper, just depends how much u shop around and if you are patient.
