Default two blown bulbs in same side headlight

After replacing the driver's side (left) headlight bulb for a blown low beam filament less than two weeks ago the same side is again out. Any history of these popping, or, did I just get a bum bulb (Sylvannia) from O' Reilly? Appreciate any wisdom.

If the glass is damaged there might have been dirt on the bulb before installation or there is water in the housing. If filament just burned out, it was a Sylvania bulb... I have not had great results with them either.

Default bonehead alert

Thanks MK, sadly I must admit to operator error. Upon further inspection (in the daylight) I found that I had seated the rubber boot too firmly against the new bulb and it 'suctioned' the connector off of the prongs as it relaxed. Re-seated and all is well. Hope my shortcomings help someone else...
