Two questions about the crank pulley
I have a '92 LX
(1) I'm changing the timing belt so I need to remove the crank pulley. My pulley does not have the hexagon cutout to fit the Powerbuilt Crank Pulley Holder. What is another way to hold the pulley?
(2) The pulley is looking old (as it should). Bits of rust is flaking off. Do you think it is necessary to replace it with a new one? Do these harmonic balancers wear out and cause problems with the crankshaft? My ride is very smooth right now.
