vtec swap

i just bought a d16z6 for my 94 dx and was wondering if my altenator and pulley setup will fit the vtec? i have a d15b7 right now.

It's the same. Bolt right on.

Note that you must remove the alternator first to gain clearance prior to lifting the engine/ transmission assembly out of the car. Same deal going back in (Installation is the reverse of removal...). Put the new engine in and then install the alternator.

yes it will fit right in. Make sure you have the z6 intake manifold, fuel rails, injectors and a ecu compatible with VTEC and a VTEC controller

i have all of that except ecu, but i will be getting that shortly. thanks for the help.

i have another question. while the motors out i want to also do a street/.strip build. can anyone share some info on what size cam i could use. im going with aem on most of the parts (fuel rail, filter, regulator, cam gear, alt pulley). i really dont want to mess with the bottom end just yet, so keep that in mind. also want to do a turbo by next summer.
