Yes, fuel pressure regulator, looks like a cylinder with a tophat, and a 90deg bent tube out the top(thats where vac tube connects). Just pull the hose off(it may need convincing, with a small pliers, gently...... as not to tear the rubber).

there is a procedure in the books to set the idle.
if you cant tell the rpm's from the dash tach, then need to get a tach and set the idle

i would not adjust the idle until you investigate a little more, there is most likely a reason that the idle is low besides the idle adjusting screw. Plus, you may end up with a crazy high idle when the temp dips again.

Hey guys, this is my first post, although i have been searching for a while now....

i have this exact problem with my 94 civic, when the ambient temp outside and the engine temp gets warm, it seems to idle low, ~500 rpms or so, i just got this car about 3 weeks ago so i'm trying to work all the bugs out,

would you suggest o2 sensors, or something way more deep?

Late response I know but problem is back in warmer weather. No CEL light. Any suggestions? Been battling this since I posted in 07 lol but this time it seems worse.

I've tried that before and I think it may have helped a bit but still was lower than when ambient temps are colder. When I turn the ac on the idle goes up as it should.

Does the fuel filter ever need to be replaced if you don't notice any bogging? Can't seem to find a maintenance schedule recommended by Honda for them. Original one is still in
