I did a engine swap from d16z6 to a mini-me d15b7 block and d16z6 head, on my 1995 honda civic, and when i finished i plugged everything in correctly. the one thing that i was worriede about was that the distributor fit in but i could only get 2 of the 3 bolts in idk if it matter that i used a head that said dcdc on it and i got the distributor from a head that had dccd on it. and then i turned it on and the rpms shot up to 3k then dropped to around 1.5, 2 and then shot back up to 3k and did this repeatedly. idk if it could be that i did the timing wrong or that the distributor is an incorrect one.
