Default Werid problem car's in "D" and the light is blinking (Not CEL)

Hey,

Well it started out as me and my buddy wanted to reloom all the wires in my engine bay we did everything seemed to be working fine until I started driving down the street, The car was in drive and the light started blinking the "D" We did pull some plugs out of the tranny mabye they got mixed up. hoping for some help in this one never seen anything like this before. When it's blinking it does not seem no have any pattern, it does it in every "gear" (Reverse, park, D2, D3, etc) If I turn off my car and restart it, it does not blink until I start driving it again. Any ideas?

Edit: my car is 99 civic LX D16Y7 automatic

as long as all the plugs are firmly snaped back on it could be a bad position switch or could be a ground wire on the selector display or if only that one light flashes then maybe that bulb is geting ready to burn out.... it is just a bulb after all.
