Castrol Synthetic in the Hatch - previous owner used it. Castrol GTX in everything else.

238 thousand miles on my 93dx, I have been running Castrol GTX High Mileage 10w3o since I got it a year and a half ago at 199k. Before that I a Ford Escort that I ran Mobil Clean 5000 10w40 in for five years with no problems. Only time I've ever had a problem with an oil was when I got stupid and figured my Escort needed Valvoline high mileage, and changed to that, and it knocked like crazy... something about the hydrolic lifters, it didn't work well at all though. so I drained that out and went back to mobil.

I would reccomend either Mobil one (synthetic) or the castrol GTX high mileage, Royal Purple is also very good.
