Well I bought the car for a good gas sippin DD. its a 98 EX 4door AT. Im hopin I can get 30mpg out of it. I drove about 60 miles with a shot map sensor so this tank prob wont be so great. Plus a lot of idling messin with it. Also have old plugs and wires that are gonna be swapped out. One of the wires are archin. Im at 200 miles with a little over a quarter tank left. What you guys gettin?

 

I have a 97 EX sedan AT. If I keep it under 60 I get about 37mpg.

I drive like "Mr.Wheeler" [sm=gears.gif]and I get around 35-37mpg in the city and around 38-39 on the hwy at 80mph (130km/h)

I know that if i drove it like an old lady the car would get into the 40's for both city and highway. I've pulled 730km(~450miles) out of about 40L (~10.6gallons) on the highway, driving 110-120km/hr (68-75mph).

As I put it, this car will do a mile on a thimble of gas!

 

I got about 32 city with a little highway (maybe 10/20 miles tops) driving it like a dragster. 1989 1.5l Civic

Oh, did I mention that the timing is off and it burns a half a quart of oil every 20 miles or so? I love those redlights that turn green as your coming up on them and you have to make a right or left turn, I end up smoking out the entire intersection like freakin ninja or something. I say it burns oil, but really I destroyed the valve guide seals and piston rings so I could have a smoke screen to get away from the cops, he he he.
