Yes, I know this is kind of a wierd question, but my car does not have a model label on it, u know, like a dx or ex. Here is what i do know, hopefully someone can help, My car is a 2002 Honda Civic 4dr sedan, it is fully loaded with cruise, defroster, all that stuff, and it is a 5spd, i believe it is a dohc engine(the basic stock engine) not sure, it is a 1.7 litre though. Its defintely not a si or vtec! I just want to know because i would like to know when i order parts that i am getting the ones that will work with this car.

 

If its not an Si or vtec than it's not a dohc. If I had to guess, I'd say you have an LX

 

if in doubt... just take your vin to your local honda dealership. they should definatly know!

when i ordered keys thats all he needed..... and if thats all they need to make you new keys... im sure they have all that other info!

and my carfax report also said mine was a AND I QUOTE

BUT its good info to know!
i didnt know mine was in a few wrecks until igot the report... but i had looked all over the car! only thing i noticed was a few paint spots on some rubber on my back window and a few other small things but nothing as serious wreck needing to be towed before... so at least they fixed the car right!
o ya another thing i just now noticed a few weeks ago is my paint doesnt match my front end. which was replaced due to the vin numbers missing off them.
if i had known about the wreck i probably woulda kept looken for another... but so far ive had good luck with the civic. at least they fixed it right minus some j@ck@ss not matching the paint....

Its a VP (value package) in between DX and LX. However, accept for the exhaust and big upgrades in the motor, every thing is the same.
