I was trying to change the harmonic balancer, and I didn't took the spark plugs out. Did I brake the motor?

spark plugs dont need to be taken out wont hurt anything. did you change the harmonic pulley???? also did you put the moon key back in with the pulley... try and listen to where the noise is coming from exactly and locate it and give us some more information.

 

Okay, the pulley is out right now.

 

I can not make for sure where the sounds comes from, but it seems that is coming from the motor. I wonder if I misaligned any interior components by taking the pulley out. I had to stop the shaft from turning, but I am not sure if I knew where the flywheel was correctly located at.
Do you think that I should check for the timing belt?

 

You need to get the crank bolt really tight or the pulley can come loose during operation.

You can check the timing belt by taking the upper plastic cover off so you can see the marks on the cam pulley. Set the engine to TDC and make sure the marks align.
