well is your transmission automatic?

If so, did it come with the JDM engine?

D15B

* VTEC

o 1991-1995 Honda Civic VTi EG4 (Japanese Market)
o 1991-1995 Honda Civic VTi EG8 (Japanese Market)
+ Displacement : 1,493 cc (91.1 cu in)
+ Bore and Stroke :75,0×84,5 mm
+ Rod Length : 137 mm
+ Rod/Stroke : 1.62
+ Compression : 9,3:1
+ Power : 115 hp (85.7 kW, 115 ps) @ 6800 rpm
+ Torque : 103 ft·lbf (14.1 kg/m, 138 Nm) @ 5200 rpm

so what im trying to figure out, is if a 88-91 civic hb si tranny would even bolt up to my motor and if the tranny was swapped or not, and what tranny it is

multimatic and CVT are automatic only.

88-91 tranny will bolt up but it uses a cable clutch so you've have to convert to cable clutch, which would be a bitch to do probably. You want a 92-00 transmission, preferably a Z6 or Y8 tranny (or JDM D15B if you can get one with the factory LSD)
