When the AC unit is turned (94 EX) it starts to kock. The Compressor has been replaced recently. Could it be a fan motor?? Any help is appreciated!

I believe what I meant to say was when the AC unit is turned on, the engine starts to make a "knocking" sound. I believe "kocking" (as I stated in my earlier posting) is something that Civic's normally don't do no matter what!! Thanks!

Could be the fan, or the compressor, or something related. If it were the engine it would make the noise when you're driving too. Listen closely to see where it's coming from. Take a piece of rubber hose and hold one end up to your ear and the other end to various parts and you have a precise way to locate noises under the hood. Be very careful of moving parts of course.
