where is the oil dipstick?

Help anyone..either im blind as a bat or im loosing my mind..can someone tell me where the oil dipstick on a 2000 civic lx sedan 4 door might be? i've been trying to really look at it hard and always thought it would be comon sense that it would be by the front or engine side..but i really cant find it..thank you..smiley

Non racer, its ok. It wasn't a joke. I couldn't find it cause the whole upper piece broke off n all was left was the dipstick right at the tip of the oil wel hole before I bought the vehicle. Thanks forty 04 & Ron j
