I have a 1996 civic Dx with a 2000 model 1.6L SOHC with a manual transmission. I am needing to know if a 1995 D16 Manaul transmission from a ex will fit up to my engine?

your civic motor is a 1.6 or a 1.7. Because the 95 and under are 1.6. The 96-00 ex's have 1.7's.

Not true, 92-95 are either 1.5 or 1.6. 96-00 are 1.6. 2001-2005 are 1.7

The transmission will work
