Windshield Washer Problem
 

My 2008 front windshield washer no longer spray water. Please advise how to fix this problem. Thanks

Make sure there is water in tank.
Have someone operate pump and listen for pump operation.
If pump is running but no spray, look for clogged nozzles or kinked tube.
If pump is not running, perform troubleshooting with wiring diagram referenced.

This may seem painfully obvious but you checked the wind shield washer fluid level recently? Sometimes the solution to problems happen to be the most obvious ones. Ask me how I know..:p

Another possibility is that the wind shield washer motor has gone out and needs to be replaced. If this is the case, here is how you would replace said motor:

1. Remove the right inner fender.

2. Disconnect the washer motor and fluid level switch wiring harness.

3. Disconnect the washer tube.

4. Remove the mounting bolts and remove the washer reservoir (refer to 2008 Civic wind shield washer diagram)

To install:

1. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
