Windshield wiper on/off switch
Hi. I have an unusual problem I guess. I have a 2004 Honda Civic EX. Does anyone know approximately how much it would cost to fix/repair the switch on the right side of the steering wheel that turns on the windshield wipers?
The switch is completely broken off, but still attached to the wiring (hanging from the wiring basically). It looks like it will need to be rewired because the wipers don't turn on when I move/twist the switch. See pic for visual.
Thank you for any info!

I have a 97 EX and just did mine 3 weeks ago. Got a OEM part from an online dealer. Mine was super easy but not sure if yours would be. I just dropped the steering column cover, upper and lower, turned the wheel so I can get access to the 2 screws holding the entire switch in. Popped it out, plugged up the replacement and I was off in the rain. Hope this helps, but it's a different year car. Your switch would cost $60.80 plus S&H. I just looked at the fiche for your car and it looks like the same 2 screws. Here's the place I use. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ Access your vehicle and look under COMBINATION SWITCH. Good Luck!
