Default windshield wipers

Just recently my windshield wipers would make a pass all by there self without me touching the control. Now when ever I use my wipers they will go all the way up and all the way down, but when they park they slid up about 4 inches.

Recently my wipers will turn on my themselve at random times and run at high speed.

Some say the switch, some say the motor.

The switch works in all positions. I have wiggled it around thinking maybe it was the problem. Even when the wipers go on their own I wiggle it and it won't stop.

The motors seem to be a known problem at the park switch and read switch in them fail.

Any ideas?

I would say that the park switch is bad. The reason i say that is because the wipers sometimes sit 4in higher than they should. The only times i have seen that happen is when the switch is bad. So it sounds to me that u are on the right track. Good luck and keep us posted.

better answer than i could have given haha. i would say just check out EVERYTHING and your bound to find out, i mean how many parts are used for the whole wiper assembly, it shouldnt be that hard to spot out.
