I was searching for information on replacing the front bulkhead on a 93 civic ex and came across your post from reparing the 96 civic. Great information. I have similar damage to my front end, but not as severe. I will still need a bulkhead, hood, and passenger side headlight housing though.
I had a few questions about the repair if you get a chance to respond. (1) Any chance you could elaborate a little on the removal of the bulkhead? Was it just drilling out the spot welds and then chiseling down the flange seams, or was it more involved? I just wanted to get a little better idea of what was involved before I dive into that. (2) Any recommendations on a good place to order a bulkhead and maybe a hood if I don't get one from a local junk yard? I have found a few places but figure you may have a recommendation.
