the other day i was driving and my ecm blew in my 94 civic lx. does it matter what ecm i put in it to replace it matter? example dx model ecm will work in my lx model. if i need an lx model ecm then does anyone in michigan have one for sale?? any help would be great...i need a car to get to work adn class!! thanks!

Try your nearest junkyard. Remove yours and bring it there, so you can make sure you are getting right part.

 

yeah i did but none around me have an lx model but are full of other models. that why im asking if the model matters with ecm.

 

Looks like DX should be fine. But others seem to be different. Wait for somebody else to answer this, though. Cause I just looked up it on the part list and see the numbers for LX and DX match. Many guys here have real life experience.

 

Yea LX and DX are the same.... i know from EXP, i got an LX ECM, i wont be needing lol....
