Default Give us a listen!

Anyone who is into death metal should give my band a listen. I play guitar in littledidweknow. Were hitting the studio sometime this spring when our sound guy gets back in town from his tour. So for now, enjoy the rough recording we did ourselves!

I like it

let me know when you get the studio recordings so i can check it out

Oh, and btw, if you want I might be able to take a crack at cleaning up your guys' rough recording with GarageBand to see if I can improve the sound quality a little bit. With the EQ and compressors I was able to improve the guitars in my band's live recordings and turn down the snare and bass drums to even things out a bit, even on a single track recording. I'm no pro or anything but I definitely wouldn't mind trying it, I could use the practice.

I would love to hear something. It sounded better than it does now until the final mixdown. For some reason the levels got all messed up during the mixdown and you can't change them back once its done. The guitars were louder and the drums werent as loud.

To get me the audio file, just make the file on your band's myspace downloadable and tell me when you do that. Then i'll download it and see if I can do anything.

I wonder how that happened during the mixdown. What software are you using?

It was all done on about a 6 year old 16 track recorder, so it was never put through any computer software. Just a mixing board on the recorder. Its old, but when it came out it was a $1600 product. Deathmetal is just hard to record in a concrete basement haha. Ill get around to making it Dl-able soon.

We have it set to allow users to download. Yet on the page it had no way to download. Myspace sucks sometimes.
