Mabey you got to move your price up a little.

But I would go for a B16A, they are very easy swaps.

or if you can spend a little more which I would do and get this B16A

B18 swap is very common and seems to be pretty simple, and then if you have some money from selling your old engine, boost it. Boosted DOHC VTEC is where its at. H orK series are the two that i know the least about (other than the H comes out of a Prelude), but i know that both of them are power monsters and would be VERY worth the money and time.

Flip, slightly off topic, nice eyelids. Where you get them? Im thinking of (one day) dropping something a little meaner under the hood. I was thinking the '06 (I think)Civic Si 198 hp engine, (not sure which one it is) or a prelude engine in. My mates got one and it goes like a bat out of hell.

I think i would have to go with the H22 even though I have a b18 in my car.

the horsepower and torque gains make up for the extra effort.

In order to get 250 hp N/A your gonna be needing to dish outA LOTmore than 2 grand. Just find a decent B-series swap and get that in with your 2 grand. Then work on it little by little. IF you want 250 whp your best bet is boost. or you could wait and swap in a K20a2, get I/H/E and a reflash and you would be at 230+hp N/A. But that would cost at least 6-7 Grand and thats if you did all the labor and everything went right.

He would have to get the second one, needs to be OBD2

Look into an LS swap, it's closer to your budget but less power.
