I just ordered my 06 Si, will be picking her up in a couple of weeks. I've been looking around the forum for the last couple of days and I've seen a lot of people talking about mods to their civics, but not many si posts; specifically 06 si's. w/o turbo or supercharging my car are their any mods that I can put on her to get significantly faster. I'd like it to be in the mid to high 5's in 0-60...any help would be appreciated and I love the info on the forum...learned quite a bit in the last cpl of days.

WELCOME! u might want to wait atleast a month when u have a few thousand miles before u start modding. let the car break in and all. but u could do the ever-so-popular I/H/E and do some other bolt ons.

 

you're also going to have to wait until they start coming out with stuff for the '06 too.

 

There are a few mods out there. CAI is one of the best bolt ons that you can get. You will get an increase in hp but your throttle responde will be so much better. I have the AEM and I love it. It also makes sound better. I just got magazine that did dyno with Si and factory WHP was 179.1 with AEM CAI it was 183.3 whp. They did a dyno with dc sports ehaust system and it took the civic to 186.4 with the exhaust and the CAI. With the header they went with a dc sports race header and the hp with all 3 was 197.2 whp.
