Default 1997 Civic Si... what is it?

Maybe a silly question, as I am new to this forum and new to the Civic world. Recently bought a 1997 Civic Si. I'm looking to get new parts for it (namely headers, their cracked, and exhaust, blah blah blah) but it is my understanding that they did not make an Si model in 1997 (this particular car is Canadian FYI, I am not and in searching for parts for this car, Si is not an option for this year. So can I just buy the EX parts? Or is there another model that will work?

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

is it an auto car? My buddies dads girlfriend has a '97 Si civic and hers is auto but I was under the impression that all Si models came 5spd, this true?
