The d16y7 engine in my 2000 Honda civic dx just blew a rod, my buddy has a whole 96 Honda civic hx with a motor, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, basically everything, that only has 56k miles on it, both are 5 speed manual, I am wondering if it is best to swap as a whole or keep the dx tranny, and I am also wondering if I will have any issues with smog after everything is done, thanks in advance!
