Default 2000 honda civic si

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Si. How can I make it faster? I have an intake but thats it. I removed the catilic converter and it became faster. I still want to make it faster.

Read the stickeys at the top of each section of the forum. They're the threads that stay at the top of the page. THey are FILLED with info, and one of them is all about "first mods." Between the stickeys, and search feature, you should be able to answer your own question this time. Anything you can't find by searching or reading stickeys, let us konw. Welcome aboard!

I can't find the stickeys. Sorry I'm lost on this website. I've been doing a lot of reading but I can't find anything on first mods.

My car doesn't have a cat, well it does but it is empty. I was thinking about installing a high flow cat. What is better an empty cat or a high flow cat?

empty? i have no idea what you mean unless your talkin about it goin bad, or someone gutted it.

if that is what you mean. and someone gutted your cat. your doing nothing good. gutting your cat "to increase flow" does not work. if you have anyone tell you it does, slap them. it does nothing but cause you to go get a new cat.

I was having problems with my cat so my mecanic emptied it out or as you say gutted it. He said it was less expensive then replacing it. I didn't do it on purpose but I did notice that my car is faster.
