Hello All,
I am new to the forum and will be buying a 2007 Honda Civic EX Black this week. The car I am looking at is a 4 Door with Auto transmission and sunroof.
Would anyone can tell me what kind of gas mileage it would get? I think it has the 1.8 Liter engine.

Also, I think it has the upgrades 6 speaker system, but it sound sort of "factorish" ....I was thinking of bolting on a power amp and some better decent speakers for the front.. What size speakers do i need. I was thinking of Alpine "S" speakers as I had good experience with them.

Anything else that you find are trouble areas which you want to share with me?

I just want a decent runabout to go get groceries.....so won't be doing any tweaking.
I also ride SuperBike so I get my ya-ya's going fast on the bike which no car can match. so just getting groceries on the Civic.

OK, I did it today!.
Went to the Honda store and sign all the papers on a 2007 Honda Civic EX black 4 dr auto with Sunroof. Yippie.

I will drop off my 2006 Chryler 300 Touring Black to the Chrysler dealer on Friday and walk across the street to the Honda Dealer to pick up the new ride home.

I got dehired and thus the 300 has to go. It has too much baggage and the Civic is a fresh start.

I am looking forward for the new ride!

Update:
I took delivery of the 2007 Honda Civic EX Black Sunroof yesterday and I am so happy with the car!.
It corners like on rails (0.81 G)

Accelartion is pretty decent.

I especially love the twin dash layout. The look of "StarWar" style cockpit. Car and Driver said "If Astronauts have company cars would be the Civic" or something like that!

Question for everybody ---- according to the owner's manual. I am suppose to be able to put an annoucement on the radio display such as " Welcome" or my name or anything.....I can't figure out how to do that. Can anyone help?

Also, I read somewhere a while ago, that you can buy this "Power-Chip" that just plug right in for about 200 bucks and it bumps the horsepower up from 140hp to around 170hp, but you have to switch to premium gas....does anybody know about this chip?
It is suppose to come out of Japan and for the Japanese market, they don't need to meet the strict emission or something like that........so the engine and push out more horsepower?????
