Question 2007 Honda Civic knocking noise while in gear mode

Hi everyone,

I am a new forumer here.

Brief introduction of myself. I am a lady driver from Sydney, Australia currently owns and drives a 2007 Honda civic VTI-L. I have been driving this car since 2007.

Recently, my car broke down. My car mileage records about 63k. I brought my civic to a nearby workshop. We found out the fan belt broke. Next morning, they called me and told me the bolt which hold the tensioner to broke into half. The other half was stuck inside part of the engine. After they removed the bolt which was stuck inside the engine and replaced with new tensioner and fan belt, I discovered 2 sets of problem.

First problem - Everytime my car is in gear mode, there is a constant knocking sound. It gets louder when the car engine warms up. I went back to the workshop, they tried to fix it but can't find any problem.

2nd problem - After the repair, my steering wheel is a bit tight.

Can anyone help me with these problems?

I am so much looking forward to some help.

Thanx
