I had to sell my bike an 02 Interceptor as the username suggest it's a V t e c V4 (3 kids and no car just a bike) so I bought a 94 Civic Coupe. I've always worked on the big muscle cars. My dad has a 57 Chevy 210 and a 69 Chevelle SS with a 396. That said, I am just getting used to the Jap cars. I have had plenty of Jap bikes not too mention Itailian and one English one. Hope to learn more from the site. The car I bought has 200k miles engine was rebuilt about 50k ago but I am looking to go bigger in the future. I want to get the body straight and do some work in that area first but then the real fun will begin. Is there a tech area on this forum with just info no posts? Or just the forum itself?

Another newb question is what's so taboo about v t e c if you write vtec it stars it out like it's a curse word [&:] Now it works... weird! [sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

WELCOME! never heard anything bad about writing it v t e c. why u would write it that way...i dunno just easier to write vtec. and if u write ir vtech then u'll be flamed to hell cuz the h does not belong there...

 

The editing program already changes v t e c h to vtec

vtech...vtec...I never noticed that!
