Thought I would introduce myself.....
I have been looking for a cheap honda for a little while now, just when I thought such a thing didnt exist I picked up a 97 4dr civic with a 143,000 for $600! Body is in OK shape, purchased it from the original owner who gave me every single maintenance record including alloil changes. Only issue is the trans makes a horrible grinding noise, but only when its in gear and you have your foot on the gas.......take your foot off the gas and the noise stops??? I also noticed a very faint noise when you have your foot on the clutch, almost sounds like a someone ringing a tiny bell. I figure Ill do some searching on the site to see what I can come up with, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

the svt has vogtland springs, kyb struts, urethane sway bar bushings, kkm intake, BAT intake pipe, taylor plug wires, steeda short throw shifter, 17x7 drifz wheels, resonator removed from exhaust, JVC wma/mp3 player, alpine surround, kicker subs, soundstream amp, msds headers sitting in the basement, mirko front splitter, CF hood and trunk.....and im sure there is more that im missing.
