If your car is a 92 with 16valves you have to be an SI 1.6L 16V SOHC VTEC, 125hp @ 6600 RPM correct me if I am wrong.. shouldn't be since I looked it up.

welcome to hcf, you could have a d14a1 motor but i thought they didn't have them in 1992. if it is a d14a1 it has 90 ps or 89 hp @ 6300 rpm and it has 16 valves. i have a d15b7 it has 16 valves and its a dx

i think so too that i have a d14a1 engine cuz dats the only engine 1.4 with carb other engines are all fuel injectors.
i am from Muscat, Oman, which is in the middle east.
d16z6 is a fuel injector type, so i think dat rules out. and yes d14a1 was till 1991 but i think its just my luck i got it.
well all is good. the only things in the car not working properly are the steering( i think its just the wheel alignments, will get it checked today) and the AC(the compressor seems to be weak).
all other is good, just need a lot of cleaning in the interior.
