Default Civic restorations

I would like to restore a civic from the 70,s but would like to know where to read up on the pitfalls and problems I might run into?

very little info is available when i looked around, but it is out there you just have to keep looking and find stuff. i hope your search goes well and you build up a real nice civic. or go the custom route and build a turboed cbr1000rr engine and put it in the back so you would have a mid-engined rear drive civic sleeper

Oh yeah. if you go to any junkyard you can find tons of civics. but they have usually alredy been stripped. b/c of the wide variety of interchangeable parts.
