hey i hav had my civic 1.5 years and am considering selling it and getting a fit.
almost bought the fit when i bought the civic.
anybody owned both and have an opinion.
i love my civic just want a change!!

 

i have a 2008 LX 2 door manual 5 speed fyi

 

what year fit? 2007-2008 or 2009-2010? ive had both gens and ive had a 2007 civic ex coupe and a 2007 lx sedan currently i have a 2009 lx sedan. they both have their good and bad points the fit has alot of room but has less hp and torque gets about the same gas mileage as the civic. the civic sedan doesn't have the cargo room the fit does and imo the lx civic isn't as fun to drive but the civic has decent power and gas mileage i get a combined 34-36 city and highway. and another thing to consider the fit having a 1.5 engine the a/c is alot weaker then a civic. idk dude its up to you just go and drive a few before you buy one when i bought my 09 fit sport i drove 8 fits lol good luck and hope this helps.

 

i have sat in both cars and i have to admit, the fit is quite nice in the interior and exterior especially with the sports package

 

Not what u were asking about sorry but just throwing this out there. What about one of the ep civics (01-06 Civic Si's)? Not new cars but the fit has similar styling to them. Dont know if youd like one of those or not but they have the bigger engines (k20 i think). The fit is kinda like a four door smaller version of the ep model civics imo. If ur willing to go a diferent route and get a "older" car this would deffinitely be an awesome option. Just an idea.

 

I drove a fit the other day....whatta bumpy ride, seemed like a toy car. The civic was better for me, so i bought it.
