As I stated - been to several other sites, some seem to be opinionative, stuck up, bias and high on themselves unless you have what they have.
So I'm to tell a bit about me and my ride. Cool.
I'm old - married - a father of a 4 yr girl who is going to give me gray hair, with a mind of a kid,
I love video games - sci-fi - racing NASCAR - #2 Rusty Wallace #12 Ryan Newman #18 Bobby Labonte,
and of course DRIVE'N = I started on a 4 wheel drive SCOUT on back roads - then to a GTO it had power
but no handling, then for 13 years drove an 85 dodge charger it was a small 4 banger but it taught me handling
on back roads, no need for power there. then a Mustang - avenger (v6 it was nice but a lemon) then a dokata
4x4 too big - NOW
I am working 42 miles away from home (1 hour drive) so I needed a gas miser
NOW I found myself back at my roots again in the form of a 1999 Civic Si - red - 1.6 DOHC VTEC -
for the last 3 years I have been upgrading what ever I can afford.
-Comptech's Intake - Header and Cat back
-Brembo rotors - Hawks HPS pads
-RSL Ricochet - Falkens Azenis sports
now I just received my Ground Controls coilovers - and Tokico's Illuminas shocks and struts.
I am installing them - I hope this weekend. any help or links for this DIYer..

souunds like u had your share of cars. you will like it here its pretty cool. a good attitude here and i intendt to try to keep it that way. hehee. if i dont get banned myself for some of my threads.

i was about to attempt my suspension but the bolts connecting the shock to the rear control arm wouldnt budge so thats where im stuck. waitin to try some airtools

 

Welcome bill... nice ride you got, you cant beat the 99 Si. I got a 2 year old son who is running me around, but he loves cars... hotwheels, tonka, etc. so that makes it alright. hahaha I think you'll like it here. Like green said, People here arent like that... we're all here to help you out or listen to whatever new mod you just put on so keep us in the loop
