alright new here and i'm in iraq. soi can't play with my car. bums me out so bad but i'll get over it. but my question for any of you who know anything about 86 crx's indulge me please i know they aren't the best out there but i can't let this car just rust itself away anymore. i know i gotta change the suspension torsion bars just won't do it. but i also would like to drop a b-18 in it and want to know if it is even possible. and yes that damn thing is cabuerated (excuse my spelling long day). but any information would be much appreciated

POR15 the hell out of the rust to stop the rust until you can really get to the sheet metal.

 

hasport makes a swap kit to put a b series into you chassis, but since it is carbed, that will be a lot more work, because you will need a new fuel pump, lines, all the electronic etc. but it would be real cool to do a dual weber sidedraft carbed b18 monster. they would sound real good.

 

b18 fits in a crx just fine so theres no problem there u do gonne have put a diferent hood on it since the b18 aint gonne fit under it so if u goin for a sleeper look u need to get the hood from a japanes crx the us hood goes down in the mittel the jap hood goes up its tight but it will work if you goin more for the show car look whit body kit and all get a aftermarket one and just ask them guys befor u gonne buy it if its gonne fit
