I have a 98 civic Ex Stock motor i wanted to know if anyone has built up the D16y8 and is it worth it. I wouuld appreciate the info

 

Post this in the engine section for the future. There are plenty of people with built y8s. However, a built d16z6 is a better choice, mainly for tuning purposes and better oil flow. However, you can have you y8 oil pump ported and shimmed in attempt to make it more reliable.
