so youre looking for a complete shell. A car that u can just drop the motor in?.........................id check classifieds for cars with blown motors..........or worst case is u gotta buy a car that runs..................but has a crapload of miles........then when the motor fries u got a replacement waiting for it.

Yeh, 2 weeks ago there was a great deal in the Auto Trader......this girl had just bought a 2003 Si (equivalent to the US EX) from a dealer for $18,000 and it was in a flood. Water went up to the middle of the dashboard and she had only had it for 2 weeks.
She only had an offer for $5000 and was hoping to get at least $6000 out of it.

It wasn't reported to her insurance company because they didn't cover it because of the flood (mother nature). It had the safety inspection and emmissions test done from the dealer, so someone could have bought it, waited a few weeks, run it off into a river or something, then claimed it through insurance and got $18,000 to buy a new one.
