Hi, as you all know - I'm new to HondaCivicForum.

In 4days time I will be taking my car to its first dyno tune.

Any tips to what I should ask for or what I should look out for - if there is any.
Or should I just let the "experts" do their thing?

Welcome aboard! What mods do you have?

 

At the moment, basically nothing.
Only a K&N flatbed airfilter. - car hasn't been on a dyno since.

I also read that changing from 97octane leaded fuel to 95octane unleaded fuel can cause your timing to go out.

so i just want everything sorted for the moment...

 

you regularly use 97 octane?!?!

 

the car only ran on 97 since I've got it - for about a year now
now 97 isn't available anymore, so now its on 95.

 

97 octane? where in the hell you get that from? Down here and every other place i have been to the highest you can get is 93. 97 is like a race fuel for me.

 

LUCKY, tho most i get is 91

 

its not the same as US octane ratings. its about 4 points higher by the way other countries rate it. their 97 is our 93.

 

+1... i hope that the 91 octane here is the 93 in the states... lol, it was worth a shot

 

u should try and give ur car power lots of power but u can forget the tork (cant spell) that gets u up to that power.
