Nice to meet you too.
Should I get a cold air or short ram? The SR is cheaper, but is the CA really worth the extra$$?

motor swap. but a more reasonable answer would be a mini me swap.

what do you mean
"mini me"?

and where is the best place to get a new engine (motors are electrical while engines are combustion)?
should I just go local or order it and have someone put it in?

if u want to do a motor swap shop around online (start by checking the For Sale thread on this site) i would go for a B18C if i were u. usually local shops will charge too much for a motor. i do recommend having a local shop install it tho, unless u have alot of experience w/ honda motors.

im not very experienced in cars at all...so I am definitely going to have a local shop install.
I just wasn't very sure of how much more they would charge. and what is a good install fee?

i can't say 4 sure how much b/c different shops have different hourly rates so of i were to guess maybe somewhere in the range of 500-900. i'm sure someone on here who has had there motor swapped out can give u a more accurate price. good luck!
