Risking ignorance, what's the difference between an engine that has an lsd tran as opposed to one with a normal 5 spd tran? What does lsd give you that a normal 5 spd won't? Thanks.

2 strips of rubber when you burn out with the lsd tranny. the lsd gives you more traction and to both front wheels. it also helps in drag racing and motorsports racing too depending on what kind you have.

I'm looking at a 93 honda civic dx hb. I want to get a h22 with a lsd tranny but didn't know the benefits over a regular 5 spd
